shelter sectors
Creating interest among non-technical (non- agricultural) NGOs to
come forward to implement agricultural reclamation plans.
Linking NGOs with donor organizations
Linking NGOs with the Department of Agriculture and Department of
Horticulture and the farming community.
Evolving the comprehensive package for land reclamation in a
participatory manner
Participatory allocation of area (revenue-village wise) for the
NGOs. Sorting out issues like overlapping activities between NGOs
Co-ordination of implementation of activities by the NGOs
Dissemination of information to the community.
Facilitating completion of most of the immediate and short-term
activities in the first two months following initiation of
implementation.
